Online dialogue with representatives of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan
The Executive Committee of UzLiDeP’s Political Council organized an online dialogue with representatives of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan.
According to the party, the event was attended by the leadership of the International Bureau of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, led by Taro Kono, members of the country’s parliament, and M.T. Abdurakhmonov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Japan.
On the UzLiDeP side, the dialogue was attended by A. Khaitov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Party’s Political Council, along with members of the Executive Committee and the party’s faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.
The Japanese side confirmed its support for reforms in Uzbekistan and expressed interest in developing cooperation in education, the economy, and technology. It was emphasized that cooperation between leading political parties plays an important role in the effective implementation of joint initiatives.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to deepen cooperation, and key areas for joint work were identified.
