After this victory, Uzbekistan’s chess player, who scored 6.5 points, beat his closest pursuer, Alireza Firouzja from France, by 2 points and became the sole leader of the tournament.

On December 4, in the eighth round, Uzbekistan’s experienced chess player will compete with Alireza Firouzja.
The tournament, with a prize fund of 50,000 pounds, will run until December 5.
