Uzbekistan’s athletes participate in the FIDE World Cadet Chess Championship

Uzbekistan’s athletes are successfully competing in the FIDE World Cadet Chess Championship in Roquetas de Mar.

721 chess players from 82 countries are participating in the tournament.

After the fourth round, Uzbekistan national team member Fazliddin Farkhodov is in 4th place with 3.5 points (U9).

Akbar Mustafakulov leads with 4 points (U11), while Ibrokhim Jumanazarov has entered the top ten with 3 points (U13).

Among girls, Malika Ikromova ranks sixth with 7 points (U7), and Khusnorakhon Khusniddinova scored 3 points. Lazizabonu Komiljonova is in second place with 3.5 points (U13).

The 11-round championship will run until October 21.
