Exhibition of products by Afghan entrepreneurs
Ties of ancient friendship and good neighborliness link the Uzbek and Afghan peoples. This is reflected in the exhibition of products by Afghan entrepreneurs, organized in the Uzexpocenter pavilions in Tashkent.
Important steps have been taken between the two countries to expand cultural, humanitarian, and economic ties and increase trade turnover. The goal is to increase trade turnover to $5 billion in the coming years. The exhibition held in Tashkent serves as an important bridge toward realizing the intended goal.
Afghanistan is a multinational country. There is a large Uzbek diaspora living there, which has its own status in society. The exhibition showcases a variety of handmade carpets similar to Uzbek carpets. Beautifully packaged dried fruits and medicines, as well as various types of soft drinks, also attract the visitors’ attention.
The Uzbek and Afghan peoples are interested in developing trade ties, and markets have a lot in common. The exhibition is still attracting its visitors.
