AIBO 2026 opens in Namangan
The Avicenna International Biology Olympiad, a prestigious scientific competition for schoolchildren that aims to develop interest in biology, strengthen international cooperation, and identify talented young people, opened in Namangan.
Director of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.Shakirova, Deputy Hokim of Namangan region O.Bozorov, Director of the Center for Subject Olympiads T. Shermatov, Head of the Department of Preschool and School Education of Namangan region A.Isakov attended the event.

This Olympiad is held for the second time in Uzbekistan. It will be attended by 94 students from 12 countries: Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Belarus, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The Olympiad will be held in two rounds from April 22 to 24.

Highly qualified foreign experts, prominent scientists, and professors from Belarus, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Russia will take part in this prestigious scientific competition.
The winners will be awarded with gold, silver, and bronze medals.
