During its visit to Uzbekistan, a delegation led by Menderes Demir, President of the Federation of Journalists of the Turkic World, conducted several key meetings and negotiations in Tashkent.

The parties discussed strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties among the countries of the Turkic world and expanding cooperation in the fields of cinema, media, and the creative industries.

A dialogue was held with Shukhrat Rizayev, Head of the Cinematography Agency, and with Matyakub Matchanov, Chairman of the Creative Union of Cinematographers of Uzbekistan.

During the talks, particular attention was given to developing national cinema, supporting young talent, launching joint projects, and widely promoting the shared historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of the Turkic world.
