Uzbekistan studies Germany’s experience in managing state-owned land assets
During a working visit to Germany, a delegation from Uzbekistan studied the operations of the state-owned company BVVG (Bodenverwertungs- und -verwaltungs GmbH), which specializes in managing state-owned land.
According to the State Assets Management Agency of Uzbekistan, the delegation reviewed the company’s organizational structure and management model, as well as the division of responsibilities among BVVG, Germany’s Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA), and other government bodies.
The delegation also explored the capabilities of VESTA, a digital system used to manage land assets, and its practical applications.
The participants discussed coordination between BVVG, BImA and other federal agencies, as well as mechanisms for delineating decision-making responsibilities concerning state-owned land.
