Uzbekistan Ethno Games
Tashkent hosts the Uzbekistan Ethno Games.
Employees of the Ministry of Sports, the Tashkent Sports Department, relevant ministries and departments, state-owned enterprises, commercial banks, and business entities are participating in the event.
The festival program includes demonstrations, competitions and team events reflecting national sports, folk games and ancient traditions.
The main goal is to popularize national sports and ethnosports in Uzbekistan, to educate the younger generation, especially children and teenagers, in the spirit of respect for national values, and to increase their interest in sports.
The participants are becoming acquainted with the rich cultural heritage, national games, and sports traditions of the Uzbek people.
