Uzbekistan’s judokas win 12 medals on the first day of the Asian Cup
The Cadet and Junior Asian Judo Cup in memory of B. Makhmutov has kicked off in Almaty.
More than 500 judokas from 12 countries are taking part in the tournament.
On the first day, the Uzbekistan national team won 3 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze medals.
Today, boys in the weight categories of -73, -81, -90, and +90 kg, as well as girls in the weight categories of -57, -63, -70, and +70 kg, will compete for prizes.
The tournament will run until June 12.
