Memorandum of Understanding signed

A delegation led by the Hokim of Syrdarya region, Erkinjon Turdimov, is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China.

During the visit, several important agreements for the region are being signed. Notably, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Gulistan State University and Tianjin Light Industry Vocational Technical College.

“Within the framework of the practical development of cooperation, it is planned to establish a modern training and practical workshop, Lu Ban Workshop, with an area of 200 square meters on the university’s premises”, said Dilmurod Eshmurodov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at Gulistan State University. “The center will specialize in artificial intelligence, information technologies, programming, and automation, and will also contribute to the development of students’ practical skills”.

An agreement has been made to send 10 university lecturers for a short-term internship in China during May and June. As part of the program, they will learn about vocational education methods and explore innovative laboratories.

The parties also agreed to continue working together to organize international scientific and practical conferences, conduct joint research projects, and develop innovative solutions.
