International Festival of Fine and Applied Arts
From April 20 to 24 of this year, the International Festival of Fine and Applied Arts will be held in the country, initiated by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
At the press conference dedicated to the upcoming event, the Chairman of the Academy of Arts, Akmal Nuriddinov, noted that in recent years, significant attention has been paid in the country to the development of culture and the arts.
An important part of the event is creative exchange, the identification of new talent, the continuation of mentorship traditions, and the study of contemporary cultural processes.

Exhibitions of the best works by local and foreign artists, master classes, and other cultural and educational events, as well as international scientific conferences, will be held in the capital, regional centers, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Artists from China, the Republic of Korea, Türkiye, France, Romania, and Russia, as well as from TURKSOY member countries, will take part in the festival.

The festival program includes exhibitions of works by students from Keimyung University (Republic of Korea), Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, and Lanzhou University (China), a solo contemporary art exhibition by Burcu Günay from Türkiye, and a photo exhibition by Eric Gourlan from France dedicated to the Aral Sea.
