Discussions took place regarding preparations for the summer Asian Games
The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan reviewed preparations for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, which are 29 days away from the opening ceremony, as well as the final phase of the Presidential Olympiad.
Representatives from the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, specialists, and leading experts attended the meeting.
The report covered Uzbekistan’s involvement in these competitions, assessing athlete readiness and prospects. Officials were directed to ensure strong performances from the national team and aim for top results across all sports.

Particular attention was paid to preparations for the final competitions of the Presidential Olympiad, which constitute the third stage of the “Olympic Peaks of New Uzbekistan” Games. The participants discussed the competition program and the sports facilities where the events will be held, as well as guest accommodation and other organizational matters.
After the meeting, the relevant instructions were provided to the responsible officials.
