A Karakalpakstan athlete has been accepted to a U.S. university

Nargiza Jaqsybayeva, a renowned fencer from Karakalpakstan, has been accepted to the Pennsylvania State University, a top-tier educational institution in the United States.

A three-time Asian fencing champion and two-time world champion, Nargiza Jaqsybayeva, has made significant contributions to sport and enhanced Uzbekistan’s international reputation. She is now beginning a new chapter in her education.
