Dedicated to land relations
A two-day international scientific and practical conference titled “Land relations and land policy in Central Asia – a historical perspective (from the Timurid era to the present day)” has begun in Tashkent.
The conference aims to provide an in-depth study of the historical stages in the development of land relations and land policy, to discuss modern approaches and innovative technologies, and to strengthen regional cooperation.
At the opening, special attention was paid to the rational use of land resources and to ensuring a harmonious combination of historical experience with modern reforms. It was noted that improving land relations is one of the key factors in ensuring economic stability.
Reports were presented, and discussions were held on several key topics. In particular, the system of land tenure in the Timurid era and its historical significance, the evolution of land policy in Central Asia, the development of the modern cadastre system, monitoring land resources using geoinformation technologies, and modern mechanisms for real estate valuation were examined.
A presentation on the scientific publication “Land relations and land policy (from the Timurid era to the present day)” was held. The book provides a comprehensive scientific analysis of the history of land relations, their legal foundations, and current development trends.
On the second day, participants will visit the Republican Center of Aerogeodesy and the Center of Islamic Civilization, where they will become acquainted with advanced practices and the historical heritage of this field.
