Cooperation in combating drug-related crime
A meeting was held at the Agency for Drug and Firearms Control under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Nathaniel Rettenmayer, Director of the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office, and officers of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Representatives of the Agency, the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Customs Committee, and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes attended it.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to improving staff qualifications, identifying drug laboratories, and suppressing their activities.

The parties discussed the joint use of modern methods to combat drug-related crimes committed in cyberspace.
An agreement was reached on implementing measures in various areas, deadlines for their execution were set, and the necessary resources were identified.

The parties agreed to deepen cooperation, establish an effective system of interaction, and exchange experience and technologies.
