1.3 billion soums in unfounded tax debt cancelled
In the Muborak district, citizen K. Saidov was charged with a tax debt of over 1.334 billion soums for a plot of land that he was not using and which had already been transferred to the reserve fund of the district administration.
Dissatisfied with the situation, the citizen appealed to the Qashqadaryo Regional Department of Justice to restore his rights and legal interests.
The appeal was reviewed by the justice authorities, and based on the findings, a formal submission was made to the tax authority.
As a result, the tax debt of 1 billion 334 million 633 thousand 333 soums, which had been unjustly imposed on the citizen, was canceled.
This case demonstrates the significant importance of appeals in protecting the rights and legal interests of citizens. By utilizing the legal mechanisms provided for in legislation, it is possible to have unfairly assessed obligations reviewed and to restore violated rights.
