Prime Minister of India concludes his state visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi paid a state visit to Uzbekistan on August 29-30.

During the high-level talks, the parties considered issues related to deepening the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and India.

Priority attention was given to expanding systematic political dialogue and cultural and humanitarian exchanges, as well as advancing specific cooperation programs and projects in trade, energy, the chemical industry, geology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, mechanical engineering, and other sectors of the economy.

Views were also exchanged on current issues in international politics and the regional agenda, as well as on interactions within multilateral formats. Following the meeting, a substantial package of bilateral agreements was signed.

At Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials saw off the distinguished guest.
