Citizens of Uzbekistan will be able to work in Italy on seasonal jobs for up to nine months
The possibility of employing Uzbekistan citizens in Italy was discussed at a meeting attended by Bekhzod Musayev, Head of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Francesco Lollobrigida, Minister of Agriculture of Italy, and Luca Brondelli, Vice President of Confagricoltura.
According to the agreement between the Migration Agency and Associazione Imprese Ortofrutticole, our compatriots will be able to work in Italy for seasonal jobs lasting from 3 to 9 months.

The organization unites over 35 major companies that focus on the production and processing of apples, kiwifruit, pomegranates, and strawberries.


President of Associazione Imprese Ortofrutticole, Marco Salvi, stated that this year, as part of a pilot project, there are plans to employ 100 Uzbekistan citizens.
