Works from Uzbekistan are featured at the exhibition of the Makovsky brothers in Saint Petersburg
The Fabergé Museum in Saint Petersburg has opened the exhibition “Earthly Love and Heavenly Love. Vladimir and Konstantin Makovsky”, organized as part of the cultural programs of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the St. Petersburg Seasons Festival.
The large-scale exhibition project commemorates the 180th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian artist Vladimir Makovsky. The exhibition will be open until September13, 2026.

The exhibition features about 170 paintings and graphics from more than 25 museum collections, including those of leading Russian museums.
Uzbekistan participates in the project with nine works from the collection of the State Museum of Art of Uzbekistan. The presentation of works from the national collection at the international exhibition site helps strengthen cultural ties, foster inter-museum cooperation, and promote Uzbekistan's rich cultural heritage abroad.
