Uzbekistan’s young sambo wrestlers win 17 medals

Uzbekistan’s athletes have competed successfully at the Asia and Oceania Masters Sambo Championships in Kazakhstan.

Talented sambo wrestlers from 15 countries competed in the tournament.

Uzbekistan’s athletes won two gold, six silver, and nine bronze medals. Members of the Uzbekistan national team, Niginabonu Akhmadova and Bakhtiyor Kaldiboyev, were awarded gold medals. Mironshoh Sharifov, Ivan Zyablov, Ferida Berdimuratova, Gulnora Matnazarova, Nuray Kalilayeva, and Farangiz Muqimova became winners.

Six referees from Uzbekistan also took part in the championship.
