The U17 Asian Wrestling Championships are currently underway in Vietnam.

In women’s championships, Uzbekistan’s Mukhlisa Masharipova (-43 kg) and Dilrabo Dulliyeva (-73 kg) won bronze medals and finished the championships with a gold, silver, and two bronze medals.

In the finals of freestyle wrestling championships in the weight category up to 80 kg, Uzbekistan’s Bunyod Rufatov defeated Ruslan Asanov from Kyrgyzstan and won the gold medal. Shokhiddin Aliyev (-65 kg) and Farrukhbek Jumanazarov (-71 kg) also became bronze medalists.
