
For several days, Uzbekistan presented its tourism potential at the 30th Thai International Travel Fair in Bangkok. The Consulate General and Uzbekistan Airways supported Uzbekistan’s participation in this prestigious event.
The fair brought together about 600 exhibitors, including international and local airlines, travel agencies, and hotel chains. The event attracted almost 300,000 visitors in four days.
Special attention was paid to the cultural heritage at the national stand of Uzbekistan, which was represented by historical monuments, traditional costumes, and unique architecture. Gastronomic and ecological tourism also aroused considerable interest among visitors.
The guests had the opportunity to try on traditional Uzbek costumes, which immersed them in the atmosphere of the country. The network users shared their impressions on their pages, talking about the cultural peculiarities of Uzbekistan.
Vice President of the Thai Travel Agents Association Sitthichai Udomkitthanakul expressed gratitude to the Uzbekistan representatives for actively participating in the fair. He noted that this event allowed the people of Thailand to learn more about Uzbekistan and voiced hope for increasing the number of tourists from Thailand in the coming years.
The presentation at the international fair in Thailand is part of Uzbekistan’s strategy to promote its tourism potential and cultural heritage in the growing Asian market.
