At the international canoe sprint tournament for juniors in Uralsk, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan’s kayakers climbed to the top of the winners’ podium.

The Uzbekistan national team earned one gold, silver, and bronze medal.

The competitions were held over distances of 200 and 500 meters. The tandem of Nursulton Yamonkulov and Zarrukh Mamasharipov won the gold medal in the K-2 200-meter race. Nursulton and Zarrukh also took second place in the 500-meter event.

In the individual 500-meter race, Zarrukh Mamasharipov secured first place.
