Uzbekistan’s judokas claim victory at the continental championship

Uzbekistan’s national team members secured first place in the overall team standings at the Almaty Cadets and Juniors Asian Cup 2026, which concluded in Almaty.

At the continental cup, featuring judokas from 12 countries, Uzbekistan’s youth team secured seven gold, six silver, and five bronze medals.

Nigina Umirzakova, Rayhona Mamatova, Sevinch Rasulova, Dilshod Karimov, Asadbek Misirov, Bekhruzbek Rustambayev, and Muhammadali Sadullayev won gold medals in their respective weight categories. Uzbekistan led the tournament with the highest overall points, Kazakhstan’s youth team finished second, and Chinese Taipei’s team took third.
