More than 100 athletes competed at the Russian Judo Tour 2024 in Moscow, including three athletes from Uzbekistan who claimed prizes.
Uzbekistan’s Mukhriddin Tilovov, who competed in the 66-kilogram weight category, defeated his rivals from Russia and Azerbaijan in the qualifying matches. In the semifinals, he beat Kazakhstan’s Sherkhan Bakhtigaliev. However, he lost to Nurali Imonali from Tajikistan in the finals with a minimum score and became a silver medalist.
Dilshodbek Baratov, who competed in the same weight category, lost the semi-final match against his rival from Tajikistan and took fifth place.
Azizbek Zokirjonov, who competed in the 73-kilogram weight category, successfully held qualifying competitions. But he lost to the Iranian judoka in the quarterfinals with a small score. And the Iranian athlete beat his rival from Russia before the semifinals.
