University of Geological Sciences hosted a meeting with members of the delegation led by Vice Provost of Global Engagement at the University of Wyoming Isadora Helfgott.
The delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington visited Wyoming on September 17-19 this year and met with the leadership of the University of Wyoming. The parties discussed issues of establishing academic cooperation between the university administration and higher education institutions of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the University of Wyoming visit Uzbekistan to establish cooperation with relevant higher education institutions, ministries and organizations of the country, organize joint exchange programs for students and teachers, short-term training courses for professionals, bachelor’s and master’s programs and conduct joint research activities.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the University of Geological Sciences Obidjon Qodirov informed the guests about modern conditions created in the university, comprehensive curricula and activities of the university.
It was noted that the visit of the delegation of the University of Wyoming will serve to develop cooperation between the two universities and ensure the exchange of knowledge and skills of professors and students.

The University of Wyoming was founded in 1886. It consists of nine colleges and schools. Over 12,000 students from all over the United States and 90 countries study at the University. The University is included in the list of 1000 most prestigious universities in the world.
