The First Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Slovakia with residence in Vienna, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, presented his credentials to the President of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini. The ceremony took place at the Grassalkovich Palace in Bratislava.

During the meeting after the ceremony, the parties discussed the current relations between Uzbekistan and Slovakia and the prospects for their further development. It was noted that bilateral cooperation has reached a new qualitative level in recent years. In this context, it was noted with satisfaction that several significant events are planned in 2025 in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Bakhtiyor Ibragimov is accredited as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Austria, Albania, and Slovakia.
