Beijing hosts a briefing on the upcoming regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to be held on November 1-2.

At the briefing, SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov informed foreign media representatives about preparations for this important political event.

Prime Ministers of all SCO countries are expected to gather in Tashkent. Heads of governments of the observer countries of the organization, Afghanistan, Belarus, Mongolia and Iran, as well as heads of a number of partner international organizations, the SCO Interbank Association and the SCO Business Council, are also invited to the event.

Comprehensive and purposeful preparations are being carried out through the Council of National Coordinators of the Organization with active assistance and coordination of the SCO Secretariat.
