Uzbekistan’s second racket, Maria Timofeeva, defeated Tamara Zidanšek from Slovenia – 6:3, 7:5.

Now, Maria will face the winner of the match between Kaitlin Quevedo (Spain) and Elise Mertens (Belgium).

Earlier, Uzbekistan’s Kamila Rakhimova beat Barbora Krejčíková from the Czech Republic – 7:6, 6:4. In the second round, she will take the court against Oksana Selekhmeteva from Spain.
