On March 16, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Vitaly Feng held talks with the leadership of Cheong Woo Confectionery Co., Ltd. and BOMI Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.

The prospects of establishing the production of confectionery products in Kokand FEZ together with Cheong Woo Confectionery Co., Ltd., which is a partner of BOMI Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. were discussed at the meeting.

The South Korean side was informed about the conditions created in Uzbekistan for foreign investors, including benefits and preferences within the framework of free economic zones. 

An agreement was reached to organize virtual talks with Fergana regional hokimiyat to discuss the prospects for implementing an investment project in Kokand FEZ.
