The 28th Eurasian Economic Summit, organized by the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation, was held in Istanbul.

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Eldor Tulyakov, Executive Director of the Development Strategy Center, took part in this prestigious forum.

The Uzbekistan delegation also included Ravshan Fazilov, Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, and Bakhtiyor Mustafayev, Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The international summit was held under the motto “Dialogue for a Livable World” and brought together more than 300 participants from 50 countries, including representatives of political, business, academic, and expert communities, as well as international organizations and the media.

At the opening ceremony, welcome messages from the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, were read, in which they wished the participants fruitful discussions and a successful dialogue.

Speaking at one of the key sessions of the forum, dedicated to ecology, the economy, energy, artificial intelligence, and healthy lifestyle, Eldor Tulyakov discussed the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at strengthening the country’s economic and investment potential. He emphasized that Uzbekistan is steadily establishing itself as an active regional trade, investment, and innovation hub. Particular attention was given to creating a favorable and multifaceted investment environment, reinforcing Uzbekistan’s regional and global position.

The summit also featured sessions and discussions focused on expanding international cooperation and interaction between think tanks and international organizations.
