Uzbekistan para cyclists achieve historic result at the World Championships

The Para Cycling Road World Championships took place in Huntsville, Alabama, United States. The event ended with a landmark achievement for Uzbekistan’s national team.

Nearly 300 athletes from 47 countries participated in the World Championships. The Uzbekistan national team won three gold medals and one silver. Notably, Marjona Pardaboyeva, competing in the T1 class, earned her second world championship.

Pokiza Ahmadbekova, competing in the H1 class, secured the gold medal in the individual time trial and took silver in the road race.

Uzbekistan’s national team reached its highest achievement at the Para Cycling World Championships, marking the first time Uzbek athletes secured gold medals at this event.

At the 2025 World Championships in Ronse, Belgium, held from August 28 to 31, Uzbekistan’s national team secured four silver medals and one bronze.
