Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan Foreign Ministers discuss preparation for the Third Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia
Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov has met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov, in Moscow.
Heads of the foreign ministries discussed specific issues of further strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as interaction within international and regional organizations.
During the conversation, the parties welcomed the results of the meeting of the Government delegations of the two countries on the issues of delimitation and demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan interstate border held on August 26-27 in Tashkent.
The ministers exchanged views on preparations for the third Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan.
The parties considered proposals on the timing of the upcoming joint events at various levels and formats, as well as other relevant issues of bilateral cooperation.
