Special attention was paid to development and implementation of joint business projects and assessment of their effectiveness, strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan businesspeople.

The sides noted such promising areas, as light industry, export of agricultural machinery, establishment of exports of carpet, leather and footwear products to Kyrgyzstan, as well as cooperation in tourism. Views were also exchanged on the opening of trading houses of light industry enterprises of Uzbekistan in various regions of Kyrgyzstan. It was noted that this will ultimately lead to a more competitive pricing policy for a large number of Kyrgyz small textile enterprises that import fabric in small volumes.

The sides noted special role of interregional cooperation between the border regions of the two countries. They confirmed mutual interest in involving all regional branches of JIA in this process. The proposal to organize a special corner for enterprises from Uzbekistan in the pavilion of the Business Association under construction was considered.
