Uzbekistan – Korea: Cooperation in financial management to be established

A meeting was held between representatives of the Treasury Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Bureau for Budget and Accounting Advancement and Innovation of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Korea.

During the dialogue, the parties exchanged views on improving the public financial management system in line with modern requirements and on enhancing efficiency through the digitalization and automation of budget processes.

Particular attention was paid to priority areas such as reducing the influence of the human factor, accelerating decision-making processes, and ensuring system transparency.

During the meeting with representatives of the Korea Fiscal Information Service, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed. The document will serve as an important legal framework for developing public financial management information systems, exchanging experience, and implementing joint projects.
