Uzbekistan – Jordan: Exchange of experience in lawmaking and parliamentary oversight
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Uzbekistan, Demie Haddad, visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
At the meeting with the Chair of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Ties, Foreign Investment and Tourism, Alisher Agzamkhodjayev, the parties discussed expanding interparliamentary dialogue and exchanging experience in lawmaking, parliamentary oversight, and other areas.
Particular attention was paid to the timely implementation of the agreements reached during the visit to Uzbekistan by a Jordanian Senate delegation led by its President, Faisal Akef Al-Fayez.
The parties also exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries in the trade and economic, investment, scientific and technical, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
