Uzbekistan, Japan sign a Memorandum of Understanding
In Tokyo, the Ministry of Digital Technologies and FPT Consulting Japan Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding to train IT specialists and develop cooperation in this field.
The agreement provides for the allocation of $1 million for the development of the sphere and specialists’ training in Uzbekistan.
Issues of training competitive IT specialists for the Japanese market, implementing joint educational programs, expanding opportunities to provide distance services, and increasing the export of digital services were discussed during the negotiations.

It is planned to organize Japanese-language training tailored to the IT sector, taking into account the requirements of the Japanese market, as well as the development of soft skills characteristic of Japanese business culture. In addition, the integration of Uzbekistan’s IT specialists with Japanese companies will be expanded.

It is expected that this cooperation will help strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the global IT services export market.
