Valencia hosted a conference on “Uzbekistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road”.

The Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Valencia, the head of the UNESCO Silk Roads Programme, José María Chiquillo Barber, informed about the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, its majestic monuments, silk fabrics, and other handicrafts produced in the country, as well as about the Uzbek artisans of the school “Master – apprentice”.
