Uzbekistan’s diplomats visited the British company Geothermal Engineering and held negotiations with the Director of Operations of the company, Tony Wilson.

The British side was informed about the reforms in Uzbekistan to increase energy efficiency and further expand the use of environmentally friendly, non-traditional, and renewable energy sources.

At the meeting, the parties agreed to organize negotiations between Geothermal Engineering and the Ministry of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan on producing geothermal energy and training qualified specialists to implement an energy project.
