Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosted the International Festival of Fine and Applied Arts.
At the opening ceremony of the festival, the Chairman of the Academy of Arts, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Akmal Nuriddinov, Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Sultan Raev and others noted that in Uzbekistan, which has entered the stage of renewal, priority is given to the development of national culture and art, literature, science and education. The initiatives promoted by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev provide wide opportunities for many creative projects that reveal the potential of the country’s people.
The festival acquaints amateurs and foreign guests with the achievements of Uzbekistan in fine and applied arts.
On the first day of the festival, exhibitions of works by domestic and foreign artists, a show of costumes prepared by students of education institutions in the direction of art, plein airs, and master classes were organized.
