Uzbekistan handball players successfully performed in the qualifying competitions of the Asian continental stage of the International Handball Federation Cup U-18 and U-20 in Lucknow, India.

In the final, the Uzbekistan U-18 team met with the Indian team. Uzbekistan team won the first half with a score of 25:13, and the overall result of the match was 47:23.

This victory brought the Uzbekistan team not only the title of champions of the Asian continental stage, but also advanced it to the intercontinental stage of the International Handball Federation Cup.

The youth team of Uzbekistan U-20, inspired by the achievement of the juniors, confidently beat the team of Kazakhstan in the final match with a total score of 38:18.

During the tournament, Uzbekistan handball players played five matches and won all of them. In the U-18 age category, the Indian team took second place, and the representatives of Kazakhstan took third place.

In the U-20 category, the silver medals were awarded to the Kazakhstan handball players, and the Indian players won bronze.
