Uzbekistan delegation to take part in SPIEF 2026
Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Organizing Committee, met with Botirjon Asadov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation, in Moscow.
The parties focused on the Uzbekistan delegation’s participation in the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the prospects for expanding bilateral business cooperation.
“Friendly relations and a pragmatic approach to cooperation across all areas link Russia and Uzbekistan. Our countries are part of the common Eurasian space and integral to it. I am confident that developing an open and meaningful dialogue, including in the field of entrepreneurship, will strengthen partnership and advance joint initiatives”, noted Mr. Kobyakov.
The parties discussed the development of cooperation, the participation of representatives of government agencies and business in Uzbekistan in the events of the Roscongress Foundation, as well as the elaboration of the Russia – Uzbekistan Business Dialogue within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Mr. Asadov emphasized the importance of the Uzbekistan delegation’s participation in the forum and highlighted the high level of bilateral cooperation.
“The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is a reputable international platform that offers additional opportunities to strengthen business contacts and promote joint initiatives. Participants from around the world will be able to get acquainted with key projects and the investment potential of Uzbekistan”, the Ambassador stated.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place from June 3 to 6, 2026.
