Uzbekistan citizens purchase over 40,000 electric vehicles abroad in 9 months
According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported 40,345 electric vehicles worth $473 million from 16 countries between January and September 2025.
The volume of imports increased by 23,671 units – nearly 1.5 times more than during the same period last year.
Top countries supplying electric vehicles to Uzbekistan in this period:
China – 39,798 units;
Hong Kong – 249 units;
Republic of Korea – 165 units;
Germany – 43 units;
United States – 25 units;
Other countries – 65 units.
