As part of the agreement concluded between the Institute of Food and Technology of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of China and Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute, a meeting took place on the exchange of Uzbekistan – China projects.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector of the Institute, Sadoqat Siddiqova, informed the guests about the research laboratories created at the university and the activities carried out here. The Head of the Chinese delegation, Professor Aimin Shi, thanked the rector of the Institute and the project participants for organizing this meeting.

The project leaders, Professors Xing Guo and Karim Gafurov, made a report at the meeting. A positive assessment was also given to the research work carried out by the parties to date and plans for the future were identified.

Following the meeting, the opening ceremony of the Uzbekistan – China Scientific Research Center for the processing of petroleum raw materials and the integrated use of by-products, operating based on Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute, took place.
