Uzbekistan – China: Media Cooperation Develops
Delegation of the CIS media representatives from Uzbekistan, Armenia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Belarus and Moldova visits Beijing, China, at the invitation of the Chinese side.

On April 4 this year, an introductory event was held on the project of China – Eurasia Press Center at China International Press Center, organized by China Public Diplomacy Association.
A close partner in organization of the project is Beijing Foreign Studies University, which facilitates the training of media representatives.

– In order to further exchange experience between representatives of the mass media of the CIS countries and facilitate their familiarization with China, the China Public Diplomacy Association organizes relevant training and exchange projects since 2014, – says the Director of China – Eurasia Press Center at China International Press Center, an employee of China Public Diplomacy Association Sheng Jue. – The China International Press Center organizes the participation of invited journalists in major domestic and international events with the heads of relevant ministries and agencies, as well as their practice in central Chinese media and visits to various provinces of the country.
In 2018, the center organized the participation of journalists in two sessions (the NPC and the CPPCC), the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia, the SCO Summit in Qingdao, the Beijing Summit Forum on China – Africa Cooperation, the First China International Import Expo and other major events.

Within the framework of this year’s project, media representatives are expected to attend various high-level cultural, educational, economic and social events.
