The World Kurash Championships among youth, juniors, and veterans ended in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Uzbekistan athletes took 1st place in the overall team standings, winning 30 gold, 30 silver and 12 bronze medals. The following places were taken by teams from Mongolia and Turkmenistan.

Tonight, a ceremonial meeting of the championship winners took place at the Tashkent International Airport. A military orchestra, officials of the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan, veterans of this sport, relatives and friends of athletes, and media workers participated in the event.
