Uzbekistan team won one gold, silver and bronze medals at Satellite International Fencing Tournament held at the Republican Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in gymnastics, in Tashkent, and won the first place in team event.

Uzbekistan team won one gold, silver and bronze medals at Satellite International Fencing Tournament held at the Republican Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in gymnastics, in Tashkent, and won the first place in team event.

The tournament, organized jointly by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, National Olympic Committee, Uzbekistan Fencing Federation, a number of organizations and the International Fencing Federation, was attended by fencing atheletes from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Indonesia.

The final tournament was held between our two compatriots. Fayzullo Alimov defeated Roman Aleksandrov and won the gold medal. Nodirbek Muminov became the bronze medalist of this tournament.
