At the continental fencing championship among juniors and youth in Tashkent, the athletes of Uzbekistan won 9 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals.

On the last day of the championship, in team competitions, the girls fought with sabers and swords, the boys fought with rapiers. 

Uzbekistan athletes won gold medals in both disciplines, and our young men won silver, losing to their rivals from Hong Kong.

According to the results of the saber competition among girls, the teams of South Korea and Japan took the next places after our compatriots, and the representatives of China and Japan in epee.

The fencers from Hong Kong took first place in foil fencing, the next places were taken by our compatriots and Chinese athletes.
