On January 19, the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympics will start in South Korea.

Along with sports delegations from more than 70 countries participating in these prestigious competitions, Uzbekistan representatives are in the Jeongseon High 1 area adjacent to the Olympic Village.

In the alpine skiing competitions of the Winter Youth Olympics, the honor of Uzbekistan will be defended by Sabina Rejepova and Rauan Raimkulov under the leadership of their coach Safar Egamberdiyev.

The Winter Youth Olympics opening ceremony will take place on January 19.

According to the program, Uzbekistan’s athletes will begin participating in the Olympic Games on January 21 with the super-G program. On January 22, they will compete in the combined super-G and slalom events. Sabina Rejepova will perform on January 23 (giant slalom), and Rauan Raimkulov will perform on January 24 (giant slalom).

The Winter Youth Olympics will run until February 2. Athletes will compete for 81 sets of medals in 15 sports.
