Uzbekistan and Türkiye are deepening their friendly relations
Members of the delegation, led by Mustafa Masatli, the Governor of Hatay Province in Türkiye, visited the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Nuriddin Ismoilov noted the active development of partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye and the expansion of friendly relations between the two peoples. The guests were briefed on the large-scale reforms led by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, their results, and the activities of the Legislative Chamber.

Mr. Masatli, expressing gratitude for the sincere welcome, stressed that thanks to the pragmatic policy of the President of Uzbekistan, the country has demonstrated rapid development over the past decade, thereby increasing its international authority.
The guest regarded Uzbekistan’s assistance in mitigating the consequences of the earthquake in Hatay province and the construction of 24 multi-story buildings with 306 apartments in Arsuz district, on the initiative and instruction of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as a vivid reflection of the lasting friendship and brotherhood between peoples.

During the meeting, significant focus was placed on enhancing collaboration between Uzbekistan’s regions and Hatay province. Specifically, the discussion highlighted the potential to elevate regional relations by establishing and strengthening direct cooperation between Khorezm and Hatay.
